For Georgia Residents:  Change here could bring change elsewhere.

CONTACT GOVERNOR PURDUE (link here) write him and request that he make changes that will improve the juvenile justice system in the State of Georgia especially for children detained in state youth prisons. State funding must be used to keep our children unified with their families and to provide parenting skills, and services to parents in need to stop child abuse and poverty.  Everyone can get involved: community action groups,  churches, fraternities and sororities, employee groups and social organizations.

Call Governor Perdue (404-656-1776)
and your state legislators to demand changes in Georgia's juvenile justice system. Organize your friends to do the same. (Telephone calls must be made during business hours.) Get a group of at least 8 - 12 people to call everyday, throughout the day.  Be professional and courteous.  But demand that the Governor bring about changes to the juvenile justice system.  Be proactive!
